Emilie has been a part of our hair team at Essentials Salon and Day Spa since 2008. She discovered her passion for the industry and graduated from the Jean Madeline Aveda Institute in Philadelphia. She has an extensive list of qualifications and continues to take classes to foster a current and creative flair which guarantees her clients a personalized and uniquely rewarding experience. Emilie has developed a keen sense of passion and commitment to a completely satisfying experience for any client in her care.
Gabbie has been with Essentials Salon and Day Spa since 2010. She is dedicated to continuing her education and staying current with the latest trends. She has attended countless classes and seminars at Aveda Advanced Academy as well as Vidal Sassoon Academy. She is a balayage and color specialist, and highly skilled in all styles of hair cutting.
Gina has been a licensed hair stylist for over 30 years. She has attended the Vidal Sassoon Academy and has achieved the rank of master stylist. She has continued her education with the Aveda Academy and is skilled in color, perms, and hair relaxing/keratin treatments. She loves working with hair and takes great pride in being well-rounded and educated in all aspects of hair design. She creates formal stylings that reflect the latest in the styling world. Her clients have been her greatest inspiration. When her clients are happy, she is happy.
Guy is a staple at Essentials Salon and Day Spa. He attended the first Aveda Congress in 1985, after which he returned and advised the whole salon on what he learned. In doing so, he prompted everyone to attend the following year. He loves attending advanced education all over the world and sharing this knowledge while inspiring others. He is very passionate about designing based on each guest’s individuals needs and life style. His guests love his passion and personality, as he always ensures a great experience.
Jenn went to Middle Bucks Institute of Technology to pursue her journey as a hair stylist, obtaining her license in 2012. Shortly after, in 2013, she joined the Essentials Salon and Day Spa team. She continues to follow her dream of making people feel beautiful inside and out. She continues to further her education through classes provided by Aveda and remains up to date in the latest trends in hair styling. She loves where she works, and the environment promotes ever growing relationships with her co-workers and guests. Her specializations are in both men and women haircutting, as well as natural hair coloring techniques. She is passionate about her making her clients feel better about themselves than when they came in.
Jessie has been a staple at Essentials Salon and Day Spa since its beginning. She specializes in contemporary hair cutting techniques and is passionate about providing an excellent experience for her clientele. Most of her clients have been with her from the beginning, and she strives to form ever-lasting relationships with them and continue to be an influential part of their lives.
Judy has been with Essentials Salon and Day Spa since its beginning. She specializes in highlighting and contemporary hair cutting techniques. She strives to make her clients feel welcome and at home when they are in her chair. Her creative flair is complimented by her outgoing personality to ensure the best possible experience for her guests.
Kathy has been a hair stylist at Essentials Salon and Day Spa since 2003. She has attended classes presented by both the Aveda Academy and the Goldwell Academy. She continues to keep current in all phases of hair artistry. She also obtained her cosmetology teaching license and is certified in massage therapy. Kathy’s love for cutting and coloring hair started when she was nine years old. She is highly talented in her beautifully executed formal hair stylings. She enjoys working with a diversified clientele with whom she has in depth conversations all while sharing each other’s happiness.
Kim Started at Essentials Salon and Day Spa in 2010. She completed her training in haircutting at the Vidal Sassoon Academy. She continues to attend color and styling classes through the Aveda Advanced Academy annually, while remaining current in the latest trends of hair styling and artistry. Kim specializes in cutting and styling of long hair as well as structure bobs for her guests. She has a special passion in formal styling for special occasions such as proms and weddings.
Kristen has been a part of the Essentials Salon and Day Spa family since its founding in 1997. She continues to remain current with the latest trends in hair artistry and strives to further her education with the Aveda Advanced Education classes. She specializes in highlighting techniques and loves to make her clients feel welcome. Her outgoing personality and creative style pairs well to provide an excellent experience for her guests.
In 2002, Mary began her career in the beauty industry. She attended the Goldwell Academy, as well as the Aveda Institute for her advanced training. She is also educated in the Rusk, Matrix, and Sebastion lines. She continues to take classes that keep her current in the latest and greatest in hairstyling, with an emphasis in formal styling and special occasion make-up. Mary has been selected to represent Essentials Salon and Day Spa at wedding and fashion shows on numerous occasions. She has a lively personality and a great rapport with all her guests.
Nicole has been with the Essentials Salon and Day Spa team for over 10 years. She continues to further her education by taking Aveda Advanced and Goldwell classes. She specializes in coloring techniques and strives to provide the best possible experience for her guests. Her creative tendencies are complimented by her outgoing personality to provide and excellent service.
Nicky has been with the Essentials Salon and Day Spa team since 2019. She started out her career as a stylist in Georgia, where she worked with a team for formal styling and makeup in The Walk Fashion Show. Nicky has attended Advanced Aveda Education for hair color and precision cutting. She strives to always be committed to furthering her education and expertise by keeping up with the latest trends, including balayage and blonding techniques. She truly believes that while she cannot change someone's life circumstances, she knows that she can change the way that they feel when they are in her chair. Whether it's a transformation to a new style, makeup to enhance who they are, or an experience to enrich their lives. She knows that she became a stylist to make an impact.
Sarah has been a stylist with Essentials since 2003. She began her journey at The Middle Bucks Institute of Technology. She has studied with some of the best Educators in the industry, including Lupe Voss, Jon Reymen, Rudy Miles, Van Council, Ian Michael Black, Ricardo Dinis and Janelle Gleason. She loved attending the Aveda Advanced Academy of New York where she studied editorial photo styling and takes part in many cutting and coloring classes. Continuing education is a must for Sarah to keep up with seasonal trends and current styles. Her love and passion for hair started at a young age and truly loves making people look and feel great about themselves.
Stacey joined the Essentials Salon and Day Spa team in 1997. She attended the Vidal Sassoon Academy and the Aveda Institute. Stacey furthered her education with Goldwell color classes where she developed her incredible color techniques, with highlighting being her true passion. Stacey has a cheerful, easy going personality, and strives to make her guests feel welcome and comfortable.
Stephanie has been a hair stylist and color specialist since 2003. She has been with Essentials Salon and Day Spa for most of those years. She received her formal education from the Empire School of Beauty. From early on in her career, she has been passionate about creative and conventional hair coloring styles. She has attended advanced classes with John Simpson at the Goldwell Academy as well as advanced classes from Aveda. Her love of coloring has been complimented with her advanced ability in make-up artistry. She has dazzled prom girls, brides, and special occasion clients with her make-up and formal styling artistry. She has fashioned beautiful current styles, as well as trendy vintage styles for her guests.
Sue has been a staple with the Essentials Salon and Day Spa family since its beginning. She continues to take classes provided by Aveda Advanced education to further her knowledge and master her craft even more. She specializes in highlighting and short hair cutting techniques. She is passionate about her clientele and strives to provide the best possible experience. Sue has a creative eye and takes great pride in her work.
Tila started in the beauty industry in 2008 after receiving her education from beauty school in Florence Italy. She has been with the Essentials team since 2014. She has remained current in the latest hair styling trends and loves to attend advanced education classes with Aveda. She specializes in fancy blow outs, curly hair, coloring, up-do’s, and make-up applications. She loves bringing out the inner beauty in all her guests and loves to make them feel special on a day to day basis.
Tracy has been a vital part of Essentials Salon and Day Spa since the beginning. She continues to take classes provided by Aveda Advanced Education to further her knowledge and master her craft even more. Her specializations include highlighting and long hair cutting techniques. She strives to learn more every day, as well as provide an excellent experience for her guests. Her creative eye and beauty is accented by her work.
Since age 12, Alina knew she wanted to be a stylist, a creator, and most of all, an artist. She started her career as a hairstylist at Jean Madeline Aveda Institute in Philadelphia in 2012. One year later, Alina had her first job at a barber shop. Soon after, she realized as challenging as men's cuts can be that she needed a bigger challenge to satisfy her desires as an artist. A year later, she started in a private salon. As an assistant she learned advanced cut & color techniques, as well as top services/treatments in the industry. Such services include extensions, Keratin treatments, Makeup artistry and much more. Alina even had the honor of doing the makeup for the Philly Phasion Phest fashion show. Now after several years in the industry and all the education she has received, Alina is able to go above and beyond for her clients. She loves everything this industry has to offer. From bold fashion colors to transformation haircuts, every client she sees will have an amazing experience as well as an excellent service. She thanks you for letting her make you fabulous!
Allison got her license from the Creative Hair Institute in 1990 and has been with Essentials Salon and Day Spa for over 20 years. She has extensive education in Aveda advanced education classes, as well as Vidal Sassoon international education. She strives to master her craft further at every possible turn, and even finds time to be an Aveda Educator at Essentials. She specializes in short hair cuts and contemporary classics, as well as one-step coloring. She strives to tailor each service to her individual clients needs, enabling them to re-create that style at home. Allison holds true to her vision, perfectionism, and talent daily. She inspires others with her caring, honest, supportive demeanor and innovative ways.
Brandy started in beauty school at 15 years old with a drive to spark her creativity. She fell in love with the industry and all the possibilities it provides. She has been with Essentials Salon and Day Spa, working with Aveda, since 2007. She strives to make every guest she interacts with feel confident and beautiful in their appearance and overall self. She loves doing everything from classic haircuts to vibrant creative colors. She especially enjoys barbering as well as doing hair and make-up for bridal parties and special occasions.
Chelsea has been a stylist at Essentials Salon and Day Spa since 2001. She has taken advanced education in the Art and Science of haircutting and coloring both with Vidal Sassoon Academy and Aveda Institutes. Chelsea is a highly qualified master stylist who also has an instinctive talent for formal styling and design. Her experience in the industry is why she is a coach and mentor for the hairdressing staff. Chelsea is passionate about making people feel their best while expressing her creativity.
