Julieann started her career at Essentials Salon and Day Spa in 1997. She has furthered her career at essentials as one of their culture coaches and spa educators. She specializes in facials, waxing, body treatments and make up. Julieann is extremely passionate about skin care and keeping up with the latest education and products. Her skill and attention to detail shine through every treatment she performs, establishing trust with personal attention to her guests needs and goals, helping them to achieve balance in their skin.
Jules graduated from Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in 2006. She practiced massage in Massachusetts for a year before moving to Pennsylvania. She started working for Essentials Salon and Day Spa in 2007 and has been building her craft and honing her skills with massage and body work, while learning from her clients and co-workers, all while building beautiful relationships along the way. Her style incorporates Swedish techniques with deep tissue, energy work, stretching, and chakra balancing. She is passionate about working with expecting mothers, athletes, professionals, young and old. She loves seeing how adding a massage to your self-care regiment can make a difference in your quality of life, no mater who you are and what you do.
Michelle has been a massage therapist with Essentials Salon and Day Spa since 2005. She is proficient in therapeutic, pregnancy, trigger point therapy, aroma therapy, Swedish, reflexology, stress fix, chakra balancing, hot stone, and integrated sports stretching techniques. She is passionate about promoting a healthy lifestyle while helping her guests therapeutically through her vast knowledge of different massage techniques.
Melissa has been a part of the Essentials Family since 1994. She has specialized in all aspects of nail care and has become proficient in the latest trends and techniques in manicuring. Melissa has also achieved her certification as an esthetician and has been educated in all protocols used by the Aveda Academy. In addition, she received her certification and mastery of the art of permanent eyelash extension application. Melissa has always been very detail oriented and efficient. She takes great pride in her work with her goal being ensuring the happiness and satisfaction of her guests.
Hue obtained her esthetics license and began her career over 20 years ago with the Essentials Salon and Day Spa team. She has advanced her education by attending Aveda advanced skin care courses and has remained current with educational training seminars to remain proficient in the most current and appropriate protocols. This experience paired together with her knowledge of Aveda products ensures her clientele a great skin care experience. Her passion involves making her guests look and feel great about themselves while maintaining and improving healthy skin.
JD has been with the Essentials Salon and Day Spa team for several years. She specializes in waxing’s and facial techniques. She strives to further her education in the latest trends in the industry. She is passionate about providing an excellent level of care and experience for her guests, all while ensuring they have the tools to improve their skin care regiment at home. She loves to make her guests feel comfortable and beautiful, inside and out.
After years in medical sales, Jennifer finally pursued her true passion, esthetics. She received her education from Jean Madeline Aveda Institute and has been with Essentials since 2019. While Jen specializes in facials and waxing services, she loves the art of makeup as well. As a Certified Makeup Artist, Jen loves to enhance her clients natural beauty as well as having fun with more dramatic looks. Her true passion is ensuring her clients leave feeling better than when they arrived and working towards achieving their esthetic goals.
Joni studied at Pennsylvania School of Muscle Therapy in 1991 and has worked consistently in the field of massage since then. After relocating from massaging tourists on the beaches of Key West, Florida, to be near her elderly mother, she joined he Essentials Team. She has a natural intuitive touch that helps rejuvenate and enliven even the most tired/sore muscles. Her specialties include foot reflexology, Hot Stone massage and Pre-Natal massage. Joni has heard the comment “you’re strong for a little girl“ more times than she can recall. She continues to love her fulfilling career of helping others, after almost three decades.
Adam finished massage school in 1998 from the Professional School of Massage Therapy in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. He joined the Essentials Salon and Day Spa team in January of 2000. He started in the industry due to inspiration from his mother, who at 82 years of age can still give a great massage. Adam is skilled in many different massage therapy techniques, some of his favorites include; Thai, sports therapy, salt scrub, and relaxation massages. His most inspirational work on his journey has been working with the terminally ill.
Brianna started working at Essentials Salon and Day Spa in 2016. She is licensed in make-up, waxing, facials, manicures and pedicures, eyebrow and eyelash tinting. She loves to make her guests feel welcome and beautiful while ensuring they leave feeling their best. She is very passionate and skilled with dual exfoliation facials.
Holly Becker, is a recent graduate of the Pennsylvania Institute of Massage Therapy. Born and raised in Doylestown, Holly is happy to be back living in her hometown among friends and family. As a longtime yogi, Holly has always been interested in massage therapy as it compliments the practice of yoga. Further study of these sister sciences will keep her massage techniques honed and current. Fluid in both deep tissue therapy and the art of relaxation, her intuitive touch will help unwind your unique body tension.
Shelbi graduated from the Pennsylvania Institute of Massage Therapy in the spring of 2010. She started at Essentials Salon and Day Spa in the summer of 2010. Her specialization is in Swedish and deep tissue massage therapy. She is also skilled in reflexology and Reiki. She has continued her education by taking countless classes on an assortment of topics which mold together to create her unique style. She is passionate about new techniques to add to her ever-changing style.
Stephanie believes in the healing benefits of massage for the body, mind, and spirit. She views massage as a natural and safe way to induce relaxation as well as to help manage physical and emotional stress, from acute to chronic. Stephanie has extensive training in Swedish and Deep Tissue Therapy. She is also experiences in Level 2 Shiatsu, Pediatric Massage, Compassionate Touch Therapy, and Reiki. Her goal is to help you on your healing journey physically and emotionally through learned techniques and to help you feel your best! She brings years of experience to the table and looks forward to sharing it all with you.
